The unique new E-coating ensures corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength.
It is strongly recommended to preload the spring with at least 5% of the free length.
There are three standards for die springs:
✓ ISO 10243 Die Springs
✓ Die Springs ST (US / NAAMS)
✓ JIS 5012 B Die Springs
Working temperature for US die springs is: max. 200 ° C.
The tolerances for the loaded length are as follows:
- 0 - 60mm 2.5mm
- 61 - 105 mm 3.5 mm
- 106 - 200 mm 5.0 mm
- 201 - 250 mm 6.5 mm
- 251 - 305 mm 10 mm
ISO die springs can be used up to an operating temperature of 230 degrees Celsius.
ISO die springs are made of a special E-coating which provides 100% coverage of the springs. With a minimum coating thickness of 10 <30 μm, ISO die springs ensure high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
Pre-loading Die springs ensures a longer service life and optimal performance. Insufficient preload will reduce the performance and life of the spring.
Stack the Die springs only while they are guided. Combined springs are an option as long as the springs are not touching. The larger the conductor, the longer the service life. It is essential to always guide the springs with a free length to diameter ratio (L0 / DH) greater than 3.5.
In the temperature range of 248 to 482°F (120 to 250°C) consider a loss between 1 to 2% of the load every 104°F (40°C).
