Die springs ISO10243

Die springs according to ISO10243 are high-quality die springs. The die springs are available from ultralight to hyper heavy duty. The ISO 10243 die springs are made of Chrome vanadium steel and have a working temperature of up to 230 degrees Celsius. The easiest way to find the right die spring is to filter the required free length and loaded height. This allows you to oversee the choice of load. TEVEMA ISO10243 die springs have a special coating which, in addition to the colour, provides protection against corrosion.

Die springs aftertreatment

TEVEMA ISO10243 die springs are treated with a finish of Bainitic hardening (austempering) which reinforces the strength, toughness of the steel and reduces the deformation; Shot peening improves the fatigue performance. Unlike other die springs, these die springs are powder coated with corrosion-protective electrophoretic paint (E-coat).

Springs for injection moulds

ISO10243 die springs also contains ultralight version die springs. The ultralight die springs are specially developed for treatments with injection moulds. The Die Springs have an maximum spring of 40% at 1.5 milion compressions. The only other ultra light Die Springs are conform the JIS B5012. 

Extra heavy duty Die springs

Ultraheavy duty die springs (silver die springs) are specially designed for heavy duty work. The spring rate of an ultraheavy die spring is about four times higher than an extra heavy die spring. For a selection of ultraheavy duty die springs, TEVEMA recommends considering nitrogen gas springs for high forces in small spaces.

The standard available hyper heavy duty die springs function as the most heavy compression springs. The hyper heavy duty die springs are only available in ISO standard. These hyper heavy duty die springs are coloured white and have a spring rate that is six times as high as the extra heavy duty die spring.
